GPTƏ is a performance of voices and sounds, poetic texts and poetics of movements. The project was born with the ambition of creating one of the first feminist artificial intelligences to interact with. the GPT3 artificial intelligence algorithm was used, trained on “feminist” poems and prose and/or that speak of the female condition. The generated texts were used by the artist Francesca Gironi to develop an acting performance together with an ensemble of artificial voices, generated and arranged by the sound artist Daniele Fabris in an immersive multi-channel soundscape. The performance installation retraces the phases of the project in the woman-machine interaction, from the human to the artificial, fragmented poems immersed in daily hyper-connections, excerpts from dialogues with the most widespread vocal assistants, up to a text composed thanks to the interaction with the GPT3 trained in feminisms.
