The device, mountable on the back head of the guitar between the tuning pegs, senses the orientation and movement of the instrument and sends OSC data via WI-FI to the musician’s computer. A switch to turn on and off the device and two buttons as additional control.
The data is then interpreted by MAX/MSP and Ableton Live for audio processing and effects.
The controller is based on the Huzzah32 board and LSM9SD1 IMU sensor and works on Li-Po batteries, making it lightweight and easily installable in multiple configurations.
